PRODUCTION ARTIST
For over 60 years Bosa Foods has been a leading importer and distributor of 7,500 specialty Italian and Mediterranean food products. We have over 20 private labels that have been created in our art department. We are looking for a Full-Time production artist to work closely with the Art Director to execute packaging designs and marketing material and also including advertisements, brochures, sell sheets and promotion material.
We are looking for someone who is exceptionally organized, passionate and can work independently. Reporting to the Art Director, the Production Artist will be accountable for building all prepress ready packaging and print files, supporting the Graphic Design team in executing projects accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Building accurate prepress ready files for print and packaging in an efficient and timely manner
- Work with Art Director to organize, monitor and maintain creative design files
- Assist with photo editing in Photoshop when necessary
Applicant Requirements
- Expert on Macintosh hardware and in the following software: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Solid knowledge of print processes
- Energetic and fun with a positive attitude
- Excellent understanding of production techniques with an eye for detail
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written and visual)
